Whilst every care is taken to pre-configue your products as best we can, sometimes we may not have enough information about your telephone system to set the unit up to 100% working order. In addition each telephone has it's own unique setting for functioning with it's own handset so some fine adjustment is more than likely to be needed.
Follow these straightforward guidelines to complete the set-up process and be on your wat to enjoying complete freedom!
1) Place your cordless headset on your head.
2) Open up a live telephone line. If you cannot hear a dial tone very well, check that your battery pack/headset receive volume control is adjusted correctly. If you still have no dial tone read through the connection steps once again. If you are having no joy call us to receive walk through advice.
3) Once dial tone is audible, adjust your receive volume to a confortable listening level. Again refer to manufacturers guide to appreciate where the listening volume control can be found.
4) if you experience echoing or 'feedback' noise you will need to adjust your telephones own volume setting to a medium level. Over amplification is the most common cause of this phenomenon.
5) Now you will need to call a colleague to adjust your transmit volume. That's how loud your caller hears you. Chat with a colleague as you would a customer to establish whether your listener can hear you. If they say you are too quiet, refer to your manufacturer handbook to locate the transmit volume control and adjust this setting until they are satisfied that you can be clearly heard.
